     Jacob Young was born on 12 January 1819 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Johannes Young and Lydia Ann Covey. Jacob Young was baptized on 1 June 1821 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Lucy Reynolds, daughter of John Reynolds and Elizabeth (?), on 17 November 1842 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont; Jacob was of Caldwell's Manor and Lucy was of Alburgh.2 Jacob Young died on 4 February 1900 at Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, Vermont, at age 81.3
