Electa (?)

     Electa (?) was born in December 1828 at New York. She married Richard Tryon, son of William Tryon and Sarah Scott, circa 1846. Electa (?) died on 6 January 1908 at Brushton, Franklin Co, New York, at age 79; The death notice for Electa Tryon said she was 80 years old. "She had been in feeble health for sometime and several weeks ago she fell, the shock of which she never recovered from but gradually became weaker until the end. Two daughters and two sons survive her; Mrs. Sarah Blood and Mrs. Robert Crinklaw of this palce, Wallace of Bangor and Wells, who lives in the east."^1,2 She was buried on 8 January 1908 at Sunnyside Cemetery, Gale Road, Brushton, Franklin Co, New York.^1,3
