     Edward J. Blood was born on 20 February 1831 at New Hampshire.2,3 He married Sarah R. Tryon, daughter of Richard Tryon and Electa (?), in 1869 at New York.2,3 Edward J. Blood died on 16 June 1904 at Brushton, Franklin Co, New York, at age 73.2,4 He was buried at Sunnyside Cemetery, Gale Road, Brushton, Franklin Co, New York; His stone reads that he was a member of Co. C 25 Regt. Mass. Vol.2
     He and Sarah R. Tryon appeared on the census of 1900 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York; Edward J. Blood, 68 and Sarah R., 52. Sarah was listed as having had no children, and they had been married 31 years.3
