     Julius Tryon was born on 26 February 1829 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York.1,2,3 He was the son of Philander Tryon and Elmira Bryant. Julius Tryon married Charlotte Cary. Julius Tryon married Almeda Armstrong on 7 April 1885 at Lisbon, Saint Lawrence Co, New York.4 Julius Tryon married Sarah Reynolds circa 1895; The 1910 census says they were married 10 years.5 Julius Tryon died on 17 February 1913 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York, at age 83; Julius died "at his home midway between Brushton and Moira villages after an illness of two years, the greater part of which he was confined to bed...and was one of the town's most respected citizens. He had been a member of of the Methodist church at Moira for years and was not only a faithful attendant at the services when his health permitted but he was a conscientious Christian. His social nature was warm...
A widow, two sons, Sidney of Moira and George of Ogdensburg, and one daughter, Mrs. Smith of Winthrop, survive him".6,7 He was buried on 19 February 1913 at Moira Cemetery, Moira, Franklin Co, New York.8,7
     He left a will on 29 September 1909 at Franklin Co, New York; Julius wanted his debts and funeral expenses to be paid for. He left the use and income of all estate to his wife, Sarah Hogle Tryon, during her natural life. He left Sidney, $200, his dau Edith Smith, $100; to son George, all that remained after those two gifts. If his wife, Sarah, was to die first, he left both Sidney and Edith $100 each, with the remainder to George.9 He appeared on the census of 6 May 1910 at Moira & Brushton Road, Moira, Franklin Co, New York.5 An announcement in the Malone Farmer told of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Waggoner visiting Mr. & Mrs. Julius Tryon at their home the previous Wednesday, it being the 76th birthday of Mrs. Tryon and Mr. Tryon's 82nd birthday having been the previous February 26th.10
