Lewis Smith was born on 22 February 1760 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Zachariah Smith and Lydia Hastings. Lewis Smith married Mary Howard on 6 October 1783; int. filed 9 Nov 1782 at Shrewsbury to Lucy How (?). Lewis Smith married Olive ? (?) on 3 February 1826. Lewis Smith died on 21 February 1838 at age 77.
