     Diana Tryon was born circa 1840 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York.1 She was the daughter of Philander Tryon and Elmira Bryant. Diana Tryon married John S. Hill between 1860 and 1867 at Franklin Co, New York; Family lore indicates that Diana Tryon married John S. Hill first and that her sister married him after her death. However, no census backs this up. This needs a great deal more investigation.2 Diana Tryon died before 1870 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York.3
