Helen M. Owen

     Helen M. Owen was born on 28 March 1843 at Bombay, Franklin Co, New York.^3,1 She was the daughter of Elonson Owen.^1,2 Helen M. Owen married Luther R. Tryon, son of Philander Tryon and Elmira Bryant, before 1868.⁴ Helen M. Owen died on 27 August 1881 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York, at age 38; It was said she died of tuberculosis at age 36. Luther Tryon's obituary in 1907 mentions his wife had died 26 years earlier, making it 1881 as well.^4,3,1 She was buried at Moira Cemetery, Moira, Franklin Co, New York; Their stone reads:
