Hannah Elizabeth Tryon was born on 9 December 1844 at New York.1 She was the daughter of Benjamin Tryon and Hannah A. Salls. Hannah Elizabeth Tryon married John Grandy, son of John Grandy and Fidelia (?). Hannah Elizabeth Tryon died on 22 April 1919 at Brookdale, St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 74; Harriet was a resident of Malone, but died at the home of her sister, Emma Tryon Curtis, in Brookdale. She was aged 74 years.
Her son John was then living in Connecticut, Winford was in Watertown, and Frede was of Owl's Head.2
She was buried on 25 April 1919 at Brookdale, St Lawrence Co, New York.2
As of April 1919, Hannah Elizabeth Tryon was also known as Harriet Elizabeth Grandy.2
