John Grandy

     John Grandy was born on 4 February 1848 at Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York.¹ He was the son of John Grandy and Fidelia (?).¹ John Grandy married Hannah Elizabeth Tryon, daughter of Benjamin Tryon and Hannah A. Salls. John Grandy died on 8 July 1885 at St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 37. He was buried at Brookdale Cemetery, Lot 67, Section A, Row 7, Brookdale, St Lawrence Co, New York.
     He appeared on the census of 22 August 1870 at Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York; John Grandy, 22, Elizabeth, 23 and John, born Feb.² He appeared on the census of 24 June 1880 at Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York; John Grandy, 32, b. VT, Hannah E., 35, b. NY, John F., 10, Winifred, 8, Feridon?, 6, as well as Charles Randall, gentleman, 73 and Sarah Steenberg, servant, 15.³
