     Melinda Jenkins was born circa 1841 at St Lawrence Co, New York.3 She was the daughter of Edmond Bliss Jenkins and Deraxy Stickney.2 Melinda Jenkins married David Tryon, son of Benjamin Tryon and Hannah A. Salls. Melinda Jenkins died after February 1894 at New York; After her husband's death, Melinda went to Malone to live, so it is likely she died there, but as yet, this writer has not found the date of death.4 She was buried at Brookdale Cemetery, Lot 50, Section A, Row 5, Brookdale, St Lawrence Co, New York.5
