     Charles Edward Brush was born on 23 August 1857 at New York.1 He was the son of Edward L. Brush and Sarahette Tryon. Charles Edward Brush married Nannie May Grandy, daughter of Amasa Gay Grandy and Sarah Jane Curtis, on 3 September 1884 at Brookdale, St Lawrence Co, New York.2 Charles Edward Brush died after 1935.3
     He appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York.4 Charles Brush was of Moira in April of 1919, according to his aunt Harriet Tryon Grandy's obituary.5
