     Samuel Nash Phelps was born on 24 March 1763 at Norfolk, Litchfield Co, Connecticut.2 He was the son of Joel Phelps and Jerusha Nash.1 Samuel Nash Phelps married Phebe Darrow.1 Samuel Nash Phelps married Priscilla Tryon, daughter of David Tryon Jr and Jane Crawford, on 14 May 1832 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
