Jennie Manning

     Jennie Manning was born on 7 August 1876 at Bangor, Franklin Co, New York. She was the daughter of William Manning and Mary J. Fisher. Jennie Manning married George Clinton Tryon, son of Julius Tryon and Charlotte Cary, on 26 April 1897 at Malone, Franklin Co, New York. Jennie Manning died on 8 August 1914 at Malone, Franklin Co, New York, at age 38; " Her many friends in this place were shocked Saturday afternoon to learn that Mrs. George Tryon had died suddenly that afternoon at her home in Malone of pulmonary apoplexy, aged 37 years. The funeral was held Monday, burial in Malone. The deceased was Miss Jennie Manning before marriage and formerly lived here...
Her husband, a well known conductor on the Rutland R.R., and a son of the late Julius Tryon of Moira, and eight children, the oldest 16 years of age, survive a kind and loving wife and mother."¹ She was buried on 10 August 1914 at Morningside Cemetery, Malone, Franklin Co, New York.^1,2
