     Homer A. Tryon was born on 10 August 1865 at St Lawrence Co, New York.2,3 He was the son of David Tryon and Melinda Jenkins. Homer A. Tryon married Laila Gregory circa 1892.1 Homer A. Tryon died on 15 April 1941 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co, California, at age 75.4
     The Montana State Office issued Homer A. Tryon 160 acres in Township 113-N, in Hand County, South Dakota on 27 December 1898.5 He appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at Long Beach, Los Angeles Co, California; Homer A. Tryon, 44, Laila, 35, Walter, 15, Gertrude, 13, Mildred, 11, Robert, 8.6 He appeared on the census of 2 June 1920 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co, California; Homer A. Tryon, 54, wife Loila, 44, b. WI, Gertrude, 23, Mildred H, 21, and Robert C. 18, all born Montana.7
