She married John Nelson Derick, son of Jacob Derick and Candace Patterson, on 2 February 1873 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 Helen Frances Young died on 25 April 1942 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 88.2,3 She was buried on 27 April 1942 at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2,4
