     Timothy Thompson was born on 15 June 1849 at Williston, Chittenden Co, Vermont. He was the son of Timothy Thompson and Matilda Jane Patterson. Timothy Thompson was baptized on 20 August 1854 at Clarenceville Methodist Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Marion Maria Kenyon on 23 November 1864 at St Albans, Franklin Co, Vermont.2
     Timothy Thompson appeared on the census of 20 August 1870 at Stowe, Lamoille Co, Vermont; Timothy Thompson, 21 and his brother, Frederick, 18, were living as farm laborers with Orlo and Sarah Judson.3
