     Abel Emerson Tryon was born on 6 April 1825 at Fort Covington, Franklin Co, New York.1 He was the son of Abel Tryon and Sarah Lewis. Abel Emerson Tryon married Olive J. Fisher on 2 February 1852.1 Abel Emerson Tryon died on 30 August 1888 at Albert Lea, Freeborn Co, Minnesota, at age 63.2
      Abel Emerson Tryon was also known as Emerson A. Tryon.2 He appeared on the census of 9 June 1880 at Manchester, Freeborn Co, Minnesota; Emmerson Tryon, 55, b. Canada, parents both b. Canada; "Allen", 52, b. NY, father b. NY, mother b. England.3
