     Charles M. Monroe was born on 19 October 1850 at Magoon's Pointe, Stanstead Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Alexander Monroe and Sarah Almeda Adams.1 Charles M. Monroe married Mary Almira Tryon, daughter of Daniel Tryon Jr. and Amy Almeda Wait, on 15 January 1870 at Georgeville Methodist Church, Stanstead Co, Quebec. Charles M. Monroe died on 9 October 1937 at age 86.1
