     Carrie Yertaw was born on 24 February 1863 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1,2 She was the daughter of Alex Yertaw and Adelaide Hardy.1 Carrie Yertaw married Hiram Hurbert Tryon, son of Daniel Tryon Jr. and Amy Almeda Wait, on 10 March 1883 at Derby Center, Orleans Co, Vermont.1 Carrie Yertaw died on 30 July 1916 at Fitch Bay, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 53. She was buried at Fitch Bay Cemetery, Fitch Bay, Stanstead Co, Quebec.
