John Clark Alexander

John Clark Alexander was born in November 1861 at New York.1 He married Luna Adele Tryon, daughter of Micajah Townsend Tryon and Isadora Rice, on 28 April 1885 at Brookdale, St Lawrence Co, New York; John Alexander was of Louisville and Della L. Ttryon was of Brookdale.
The wedding was held at the Methodist Church in the evening and attended by many. The reception immediately followed at the bride's home. They received many gifts and congratulations and left to catch the midnight train to Montreal.2 John Clark Alexander died after 1920; In 1920, John was a 58 year old widower living in Canton with his brother in law, Cyrus Broeffle.3
He appeared on the census of 1900 at Louisville, St Lawrence Co, New York; John C. Alexander, 38, Luna A., 34, Mead, 12, Clark, 10, Dora, 8 and Gladys, 3, all b. New York.1
