Rose (?) married Benjamin Vaughan, son of Christopher Vaughan and Deborah (?), circa 1727. Rose (?) died circa 1785 at New Fairfield, Fairfield Co, Connecticut.
At this point, Rose's family is a mystery. No maiden name has yet (1990) been located. Her Will, written 22 January 1776, mentions Benjamin as her youngest son, as well as her four daughters and their husbands including "Elliner ye wife of Daniel Tryon". Rose Vaughan left all her most of her estate to Benjamin but gave all her "wearing apparil in equal division" to hers daughters. This Will was not proved until 16 August 1785.
The Fairfield Co Probate records show that she was appointed administrator of her late husband's estate on 12 Nov 1756.
