Frederick Luther Tryon

     Frederick Luther Tryon was born on 9 July 1870 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York.¹ He was the son of Luther R. Tryon and Helen M. Owen. Frederick Luther Tryon married Georgietta A. Armstrong, daughter of George W. Armstrong and Almira Combs, on 17 December 1890 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York; They were married at the residence of Julius Tryon by Rev. M.D. Sill, of the Methodist Church.^2,3 Frederick Luther Tryon died on 5 February 1947 at Raphine, Rockbridge Co, Virginia, at age 76.¹ He was buried at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Cemetery, Steeles Tavern, Augusta Co, Virginia.¹
     He appeared on the census of 17 January 1920 at Waverly, Franklin Co, New York; Fred L. Tryon, 49, Georgina, 49, Lawrence, 19 and Helen M.A., 14.³
