Lawrence Armstrong Tryon was born on 13 March 1900 at Franklin Co, New York.1,2 He was the son of Frederick Luther Tryon and Georgietta A. Armstrong. Lawrence Armstrong Tryon died on 12 January 1973 at age 72.2 He was buried at Mount Carmel Presbyetrian Cemetery, Steeles Tavern, Augusta Co, Virginia.2
In 1918, Lawrence Tryon registered for the WW I Draft in Franklin Co, NY. He gave his birthdate, and age as 18, his build was noted short and slender, eyes blue and hair brown. Lawrence was employed by Brooklyn Coop Co., of St Regis Falls, NY, and listed his nearest relative as his mother, Georgia Tryon, also of St Regis Falls.1
