Isabelle Hamson was born on 24 January 1860 at Elgin, Huntingdon Co, Quebec, Canada; Isabella was th eeldest of eight children. She moved to Burke with her parents at the age of twelve.2,3 She was baptized on 31 October 1864 at St Andrew's Presbyterian, Huntingdon, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.2 She married George Herbert Scott, son of Robert Scott and Lany Miranda Young, on 29 September 1883 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York; They were married by the Rev. Marshall White, Baptist Minister at Burke.4,1,3 Isabelle Hamson died on 26 May 1937 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York, at age 77; She passed away at the home of her daughter, Irene. The funeral was to be private from Irene's and Leland Tucker's farm house. They wished no flowers to be sent.3 She was buried on 28 May 1937 at Morningside Cemetery, Malone, Franklin Co, New York.3
