Daniel Enoch Salls

     Daniel Enoch Salls was born on 30 April 1844 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Salls and Lydia A. Tryon. Daniel Enoch Salls married Elvira Victoria Tilton, daughter of Manly Tilton and Marion ? (?), on 11 December 1866 at Wesleyan Methodist Church, Georgeville, Stanstead Co, Quebec. Daniel Enoch Salls died on 3 July 1882 at Graniteville, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 38.
     He appeared on the census of 1881 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Daniel E. Salls, 37, Elva, 33, Carrie, 13, along with a farm laborer, Frank Dorson, 15, and his mother, Lydia Salls, 58, all Second Day Adventists and born Quebec.¹
