     Artemus B. Sweet was born on 7 April 1851 at New York.1 He was the son of Hiram A. Sweet and Hannah Brayton. Artemus B. Sweet married Celinda (?) before 1872.2 Artemus B. Sweet died on 13 April 1876 at Ontario at age 25; Artemus died of consumption.1,3,4 He was buried at Sand Hill Cemetery, Bombay, Franklin Co, New York.5
