     Rebecca Wait was born circa 1784 at New York. She was the daughter of Jonathan Wait and Eleanor (?). Rebecca Wait married Stephen Washburn circa 1807 at Columbia Co, New York; While I have no real proof that Rebecca married Stephen Washburn, I am listing him as her husband. We do know from Jonathan Wait's Will that Rebecca married a Washburn, and I found Stephen had married a Rebecca in Columbia Co, and she was born about 1783.1 Rebecca Wait died on 22 October 1861 at Cato, Cayuga Co, New York. She was buried after 22 October 1861 at Meridian Cemetery, Meridian, Cayuga Co, New York.2
