     Abigail Wait was born on 9 April 1787 at New York. She was the daughter of Jonathan Wait and Eleanor (?). Abigail Wait married Lewis Mead, son of Timothy Mead and Phoebe Crippen, before 1820. Abigail Wait died on 21 August 1865 at Oakland Co, Michigan, at age 78. She was buried at New Hudson Cemetery, Lyon Township, Oakland Co, Michigan.1
      Abigail Wait was also known as Nabby Wait.
