Lewis Mead

     Lewis Mead was born on 12 March 1782 at Manchester, Bennington Co, Vermont.1 He was the son of Timothy Mead and Phoebe Crippen. Lewis Mead married Abigail Wait, daughter of Jonathan Wait and Eleanor (?), before 1820. Lewis Mead died on 31 August 1862 at Oakland Co, Michigan, at age 80. He was buried at New Hudson Cemetery, Lyon Township, Oakland Co, Michigan.2
