     Barbara Young was born on 21 November 1783 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Young and Catherina Brust. Barbara Young was baptized on 28 January 1784 at Gilead Lutheran Church, Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.2 She married Philip Derick Jr, son of Philip Derick and Anna Maria Brust. Barbara Young died on 22 September 1836 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 52.3,4 She was buried on 24 September 1836 at 3rd Concession Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.4
