Philip Young was born in 1795 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Jacob Young and Catherina Brust. Philip Young married Rachel Keet, daughter of Jonathan Keet and Sarah Lamb, on 3 June 1818 at St George's Anglican Church, Caldwell's Manor, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec.¹ Philip Young died on 2 July 1863 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.² He was buried on 4 July 1863 at St George's Anglican Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.³
