Sarah Amelia Hislop was born on 11 May 1849 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of William Hislop and Margaret Mounsey Young. Sarah Amelia Hislop was baptized on 26 October 1852 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Clarenceville Methodist Church. She married Jacob Reynolds on 4 July 1870.1 Sarah Amelia Hislop died on 21 November 1904 at Clinton Co, New York, at age 55.2 She was buried at Ingraham Cemetery, Chazy, Clinton Co, New York.2
