Mary Jane Young was born on 23 July 1838 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick Young and Mary Iby. Mary Jane Young was baptized in 1842 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.² She married James Hislop, son of William Hislop and Margaret Mounsey Young, on 3 March 1863.³ Mary Jane Young died on 21 August 1911 at age 73; Clarenceville Methodist Church. She was buried on 23 August 1911 at St Thomas' Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
