     George Young was born on 12 December 1818 at Christie's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1,2 He was the son of Philip Young and Rachel Keet. George Young was baptized on 2 July 1820 at Caldwell's Manor & Christie's Manor Anglican Church, Caldwell's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3 He married Phoebe Elizabeth Beerworth on 24 January 1849 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Clarenceville Methodist Church. George Young died on 13 May 1907 at age 88.1 He was buried at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.4
