Daniel Mixer was born on 2 October 1766. He was the son of Asa Mixer and Mercy Newton. Daniel Mixer married Lydia Wesson in 1783. Daniel Mixer died before 1818.
Jennie McLean, along with her sister Mary Olivia, were raised in Saint John by their aunt, Rebecca Wood McLellan. From about 1895 to 1934, Jennie McLean was employed by Manchester, Robertson and Allison as a seamstree. She was a memmber of the Central Baptist Church, and previously of the old Brussells Street Baptist Church which later merged with the Central Baptist Church. For a few years prior to 1914, Jennie resied at 30 Rock Street with her sister Mary Matthews. From 1927 to 1932 she resided at 32 Carleton Street, which became 102 Carelton Street in later years - This happened to be the home of Miss Ethel Kirkpatrick, a descendant of the Wood family through Rebecca McLellan Wood and husband John Frederick Cheyne, for many years until 1989. About 1938 Jennie boarded at, or lived with Miss Julia KNight at 26 Orange Street, Saint John.
