     Mary Arlotta Hislop was born on 10 November 1831 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1,2 She was the daughter of William Hislop and Margaret Mounsey Young. Mary Arlotta Hislop was baptized on 10 June 1832 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married Phillier Bissell on 26 October 1852.2 Mary Arlotta Hislop died on 5 November 1914 at Beebe Plain, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 82; Mary had gone in to a coma due to "chronic Interstitial nephri."3 She was buried on 7 November 1914 at Fitch Bay Cemetery, Fitch Bay, Stanstead Co, Quebec.4,5
