Mehitabel Smith was born circa 1713. She was the daughter of Zachariah Smith and Susanna Grout. Mehitabel Smith was baptized on 13 September 1713. She married David Flagg, son of John Flagg and Sarah Hagar, on 5 August 1747 at Watertown, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.1
