George S. Longeway was born on 15 March 1845. He was the son of Joseph Longeway and Deborah Covey. George S. Longeway was baptized on 24 March 1846 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.
He appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at Ticonderoga, Essex Co, New York; george S. Longeway, 55, b. Mar 1845, wid, and son George H., 22, b. May 1872.2 He appeared on the census of 6 May 1910 at Ellington, Tuscola Co, Michigan; George S. Longeway, aged 65, was living next to his son George H. Longeway, 44 and wife Daisy, 29. They also had a 7 yr old son, -- looks like David.1
