     Henry Leonard Longeway was born on 27 March 1829 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Joseph Longeway and Deborah Covey. Henry Leonard Longeway was baptized on 6 September 1829 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He died on 17 May 1913 at Columbia, Tuscola Co, Michigan, at age 84; His death certificate says he was born 7 March 1831, but writer has his baptism record from September 1829 stating it was 27 March 1829. So even though his age at death was given as 82 yrs 2 mos and 10 days, he ws actually 84 years old. The informant was George S. Longeway.2 He was buried on 19 May 1913 at Almer Township, Tuscola Co, Michigan.2,3
     He appeared on the census of 4 May 1910 at Columbia, Tuscola Co, Michigan; Henry Longeway, aged 78, born Canada was head of household and had his sister, Lydia, aged 65, living with him.4
