     Edward Longeway was born on 27 August 1830 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Augustus Longeway and Nancy Covey. Edward Longeway was baptized on 24 October 1830 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Lydia Beerwort on 9 February 1860 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 Edward Longeway died on 28 January 1918 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 87.3 He was buried on 30 January 1918 at Ruiter's Corners Cemetery, Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.3
     He and Lydia Beerwort appeared on the census of 1881 at St-Georges-de-Henryville, Iberville Co, Quebec.4
