     George Edward Longeway was born on 21 November 1846 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of James Covey Longeway and Isabella Park Hurst. George Edward Longeway was baptized on 21 March 1847 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Martha Maria Elizabeth Keet, daughter of David Keet and Ann Adelia Rember, on 23 December 1874. George Edward Longeway died on 4 November 1902 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 55.3 He was buried on 7 November 1902 at Griffin Hill Cemetery, Ogden, Stanstead Co, Quebec; His stone reads that he aged 55y 11m 13d.4,3
