     Merrit B? Longeway was born on 19 October 1856 at Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec. He was the son of Augustus Longeway and Lois Darby. Merrit B? Longeway was baptized on 8 August 1862 at Sutton Methodist Church, Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec. He married Bertha Lorena Lewis on 8 April 1884 at Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec. Merrit B? Longeway died in 1947.1 He was buried at Fairmount Cemetery, Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec.2
