Tamesin Brike

     Tamesin Brike was born at England. She married John Mayo Jr, son of John Mayo and Katherine (?), on 21 March 1618 at Reformed Church, Leiden, Holland; Jan Meyer of England, baizeworker, accompanied by Thomas Smeth, his acquaintance, betrothed March 21, 1618 to Timmosijn Breyck of England, accompanied by Susanna Breyck, her mother and Marytgen Duijck, her sister. While it is very likely that this is the marriage of Tamesin and John Mayo, it is not certain. Since John's good friend, William Brewster lived for a time in Leiden, it is certainly plausible.¹ Tamesin Brike died on 26 February 1682 at Yarmouth, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts.
