Mary Truax

     Mary Truax was born on 12 July 1807 at Farnham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Abraham Truax and Jane Scott. Mary Truax married Henry Healey on 15 February 1825 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ Mary Truax died on 11 March 1896 at Romney, Kent Co, Ontario, at age 88; She was recorded as being aged 88 years and 9 months, and death was attributed to cramps and shock of a duration of 15 minutes.² She was buried at Wheatley Cemetery, Kent, Ontario.
