Joseph Laduke

Joseph Laduke was born circa 1802; Gravestone record says d. ae 60. He married Clarissa Mandigo, daughter of Jonathan Mandigo and Mary Vincent, on 3 October 1833. Joseph Laduke died on 16 April 1862. He was buried at Farnham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Farnham Center Cemetery.
Most of the information on the children of Joseph LaDuke and wife Clarissa Mandigo comes from a listing in "Family Happenings in Missisquoi...". These names and dates do not correspond with those found in the 1861 census of Farnham. At that time they were all living in a one story log cabin home, and were all Roman Catholic. Census records show a daughter Julia ae 12 between sons Henry ae 14 and James ae 10, as well as daughter Mary ae 16 between Francis 18, and Henry. Further investigation through census and church records is needed on this family.
