     Caroline Mandigo was born on 30 September 1837 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Hiram Mandigo and Anna Partlow. Caroline Mandigo was baptized on 20 July 1842 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St Armand Methodist Church. She married John Smith on 24 November 1856 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.1
