     Lydia Flagg was born on 19 March 1815 at Caldwell's Manor, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec. She was the daughter of Ira Flagg and Nancy Colton. Lydia Flagg was baptized on 10 September 1815 at Caldwell's Manor, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec; St George's Anglican Church. She married Abram Derick, son of Philip Derick Jr and Barbara Young, on 30 November 1837 at Caldwell's Manor & Christie's Manor Anglican Church, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1
