Allen Hackett

M, b. circa 1815, d. 20 April 1878
     Allen Hackett was born circa 1815 at Vermont.1 He married Rosetta Jones circa 1850 at New York. Allen Hackett died on 20 April 1878 at Clinton Co, New York; Rosetta was listed as a widow in 1880.2,3 He was buried at Sheldon Cemetery, Ellenburg Depot, Clinton Co, New York.3
     He appeared on the census of 18 December 1860 at Altona, Clinton Co, New York; Allen Hacket, 50, and wife Rosetta, 39, were living with ch: Luther, 10, Merrill, 8. Lesley, 6, Albert 3, and Agnes 4/12. He was shoemaker and both he and Rosetta were born in Vermont.4 He appeared on the census of 18 August 1870 at Altona, Clinton Co, New York; Allen Hackett was living with his wife Rosetta, then aged 48, along with sons Eugene M., 17, Albert 13 and dau Agnes, 10.1
