Elnathan Allen was born on 18 November 1728. He was the son of Israel Allen and Elizabeth Wheelock. Elnathan Allen married Thankful Hastings, daughter of Joseph Hastings and Lydia Brown, on 31 May 1753 at Watertown, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; He was of Shrewsbury, MA. Elnathan Allen died on 2 October 1805 at age 76.
