     Daniel Bissell was born on 16 January 1807 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Randall Mumford Bissell and Elizabeth Derick. Daniel Bissell was baptized on 4 March 1809 at Christie's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Mary Covey, daughter of James Covey and Elizabeth (?), on 3 February 1829 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 Daniel Bissell died on 17 April 1896 at Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 89. He was buried at Bissell Cemetery, Stanstead Co, Quebec; The inscription says he was 92 yrs, 3 mos.3
